Nia understands that as we experience life we will inevitably encounter obstacles and stressors that challenge us to change. She believes these moments present opportunities for transformation. She recognizes that life transitions and personal experiences can sometimes be overwhelming, yet they can also be valuable seasons with the potential to generate “peak and valley” experiences that can alter a life course. Nia’s goal as a therapist is to provide a comfortable non-judgmental environment for individuals, couples, and families to unpack and manage personal challenges and difficult circumstances. Her specializations include psychodynamic therapy, relational and family systems therapy, and mindfulness. She supports clients as they work through anxiety, grief, depression, trauma and relational transitions. Nia’s mission is to develop an authentic therapeutic relationship with clients that is both empathetic and supportive of their journey toward emotional healing.
